I think a dress code for public schools is a great idea. This would eliminate a majority of the problems that children face on a daily basis. There would be no more $200 sneakers to steal or get shot over. And no longer be competition to have the newest jeans or the latest shirt. The standard would be khakis and a polo shirt for the boys and skirts for the girls. This needs to be brought before all school boards across the country. I have a nine year old in public school and a 4 year old starting this year.
